Buddy has found his forever home.

BUDDY is a Stunning 3 year old golden retriever boy, currently fostered in north London and also spends time in Norfolk on a regular basis.

He’s extremely bright, very friendly (often overpoweringly) and loyal to the point of overprotectivness. He’s quite vocal and watches every move you make.

He can be left, is non destructive (unless it’s a tea towel!), travels well, eats everything he’s offered, is fully house trained and has been once to kennels and settled well.

Unfortunately, he has developed a dislike of one of the owner’s other male dog and will suddenly “go for him”, although he is fine with the owner’s elderly bitch who “won’t stand any nonsense!”

He can also (but not always) be reactive towards other dogs out and about, especially if they show any signs of nervousness, but then just as easily he can be absolutely fine with confident dogs who are happy to just come to greet him!

He has never been reactive towards people and is a very happy, friendly boy!

Buddy has never really been tested with young children or cats, although he has been fine around horses.

We think Buddy would LOVE a home as an only dog , where he can have all the attention focused on him and be given a ‘job’, his brain needs to work as much as his muscles!

He‘s quite strong on the lead, so is best walked in a headcollar.

Finally, he most definitely loves his cuddles and likes to be in close contact with his humans, usually lying on their feet.

Buddy really deserves a chance to shine, as he is such a fabulous, loving boy, but would need an experienced, patient owner to bring out his full potential.
